Company Biographies
Sam Berger (director) has directed theatre in Bristol, London, Canada and Denmark. He has worked across a wide range of theatrical genres from new writing to the classics, gritty modern drama to musicals. Sam is the artistic director of Plain Clothes Theatre Productions – a company producing modern plays from around the globe; he has an MA in Theatre Directing from Goldsmiths University, London and trained for threes years in theatre at Dartington College of Arts, Devon.
Catherine Hoare (designer) graduated from Nottingham Trent University in 2001 and has since worked as set and costume designer for a variety of TV and theatre productions. Recent work includes credits with Opera à la Carte and ITV. Catherine is the resident designer for Plain Clothes Theatre Productions, and has created work for the company for the past four years on productions including Problem Child / Criminal Genius, Entertaining Mr Sloane and Angel.

Joanne Lancastle (Emily) trained at the Welsh College of Music and Drama. Recent credits include Casualty (BBC1), Doctor Who (BBC1), Self Help For Your Nerves (BBC3) and Losing It (ITV1). She has also worked for many theatre companies in Bristol, performing at the New Vic Studio, the Wickham Theatre and with Theatre West at the Alma Tavern.

Paul Mundell (John) graduated from Bristol Old Vic Theatre School in 2005. Recent credits include work with The Shakespeare Review Company, Big Telly Theatre Company (The Picture of Dorian Gray), Cambridge Shakespeare Festival (Hamlet and Twelfth Night) and The Clapham Shuffle for BBC Radio 4.

Simon Winkler (Paul) has been acting for over 15 years and has worked in theatre, radio and film. His recent roles include Cap in Viral Sutra by David Carter, co-produced by Theatre West and Chrysalis Theatre at Bristol Old Vic Studio and the Finborough Theatre, London, during July and August.
