Have-a-Go Hero

ARGUMENTS put forward in this show against William Hague’s campaign for the use of 'reasonable force' against intruders in your home and 'lawr-an-ordah' in general are more persuasive than Tony Blair’s.

Dean and Diana have just moved into a new home, and the action in Tim Massey’s tightly-written play opens with Dean wielding a baseball bat against a burglar who turns out to have something to say for himself, and it is pointed out to Dean - a security man - that it is the underworld which keeps him and many others in a job.

While plainly produced and acted, the show’s engaging turns and twists make for a stimulating late-night hour.
